SUS Foundation of Canada is a nationally registered charity which provides grants to other charitable organizations or educational organizations for the purpose of "the preservation and advancement of education and of the Ukrainian culture in Canada". SUS Foundation of Canada realizes these goals by investing and managing your donations, contributions and legacies, then granting the income generated to projects and organizations in your community. Beginning with Theodore Humeniuk's donation of $50,000 in 1964, a solid foundation was created and with over 50 years of tradition.
Our Vision
To receive donations, contributions and legacies and to invest those assets in accordance with the by-laws of the foundation.
Our Mission
To use or to grant to other organizations such portion of the income of the corporation as the board may deem proper for the preservation and advancement of education and of the Ukrainian culture in Canada.
SUS Foundation of Canada allows your donation to keep on giving in perpetuity. Our vision is to continue to preserve a culture that we value most dearly in order to ensure that future generations are able to understand and appreciate where Ukrainian-Canadians have come from and the contributions that have been made.
By fostering our youth and youth related programs SUS Foundation of Canada ensures that our heritage will be remembered and preserved from one generation to the next.
